Roles and Responsibilities:

The IT Service Desk Technician (SDT) is, on a day-to-day basis, responsible for first line user support for all IT related issues, problems, and training. The IT Service Desk Technician is also responsible for creating and dispatching tickets to Desktop Support Technicians and other IT groups as necessary using the Service Management System. Successful candidates will be able to cross train with our Service Desk and Desktop Support technicians to learn additional skills and applications.

On a day-to-day basis, the ISI Service Desk Technician will:

  • Handle first level calls from corporate, field based, and remote office employees/contractors/consultants.
  • Create and dispatch work orders within the Service Management tool
  • Communicate with customers via phone, email, chat, etc to troubleshoot, discuss service expectations, relay relevant company policy, gather information, etc.
  • Escalate issues to other IT groups as necessary.
  • Setup, manage, and disable network accounts in the Account Management System.
  • Setup/configure/disable accounts and deliver/install/recover IT equipment according to corporate policy.
  • Update and revise working knowledge of Company/Department/team procedures and policies.
  • Properly track IT equipment as assigned to customers in Service Management System.

Skill/Job Requirements:

  • Experience supporting Windows operating system computing environment.
  • Strong customer service skills/experience required.
  • Previous experience in a help desk environment desired.
  • Must be able to work independently and self-directed, as well as, within a team.
  • Must have excellent organizational, verbal, and written communication skills.
  • Successful candidates will be comfortable operating in a fast paced and changing environment.
  • Successful candidate should be flexible and able to complete projects outside their normal daily duties as needed.

Since 2016 the Company’s engagement with SAP delivery has continuously grown and from a start of a 2-member ABAP team in 2016 now the SAP team has grown in size to include ABAP / PI / Basis / Functional / BODS / Delivery team of about 20+ members and is constantly growing to accommodate client requirements. We also have IT Helpdesk, Service Now specialist and Network specialization roles for our client. New roles are continuously being added and our team is expanding at a brisk pace.

Our IIOT team has mainly Backend (Java) and Frontend (UI) requirements and that team too is on a robust growth path. The backend requirement is for experts in Java, Spring, MySQL, Linux OS and familiarity with CI/TDD. The frontend requirement is for resources skilled in Angular JS / ReactJS, SPA Frameworks, HTML 3/5, CSS, Mobile Application Development (iOS/Android)- PhoneGap and Native Advanced Javascript, Bootstrap, JSON or Xml, UX Design with a good experience of REST API Integration and security configurations.

Design support of the foremost engineering & quality Certification Consultancy and has been selected after due diligence by one of the Oil and Gas behemoth for extensive implementation. Substantial manpower ramp-up is expected in this team in the near future as well
