We are seeking a skilled Aeronautical / Mechanical/ Electrical Engineer to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate should have 1-3 years of experience in the field of engineering. The ideal candidate will have experience in 3D modelling, Finite Element Analysis (FEA), CFD and drone-specific mechanical design. As an Aeronautical/ Mechanical/ Electrical Engineer at Battlelab India Pvt Ltd, you will be responsible for designing, analyzing, and optimizing drone components and systems, ensuring they meet performance, safety, and reliability standards. Moreover, you will also be responsible for designing different mounting systems.

Key Responsibilities:

•? ?Design and develop mechanical components and systems for drones using CAD software (e.g., SolidWorks, Autodesk Inventor, or similar).

•? ?Perform Finite Element Analysis (FEA) to evaluate the structural integrity, thermal performance, and overall durability of drone parts and assemblies.

•? ?Conduct prototyping, testing, and validation of designs to ensure compliance with performance and safety standards.

•? ?Optimize designs for weight, cost, and manufacturability while maintaining high performance and reliability.

•? ?Troubleshoot and resolve mechanical design issues during development, testing, and production phases.

•? ?Prepare detailed technical documentation, including design specifications, test reports, and assembly instructions.

•? ?Stay up-to-date with industry trends, materials, and technologies related to drone design and mechanical engineering.

Qualifications & Skills

Education & Experience:

•? ?Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Aeronautical/ Mechanical/ Electrical Engineering

•? ?Proven experience in mechanical design and analysis, preferably in the drone, aerospace, or robotics industries.

•? ?Proficiency in 3D modeling software (e.g., SolidWorks, CATIA, AutoCAD) and FEA tools (e.g., ANSYS, Abaqus).

•? ?Strong understanding of materials, manufacturing processes, and mechanical systems.

•? ?Experience with prototyping, 3D printing, and hands-on fabrication techniques.

•? ?Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.

•? ?Knowledge of aerodynamics and drone dynamics is a plus.

•? ?Strong attention to detail and a passion for innovative design.

•? ?Drone pilot license is an asset.
