Achieves sales objectives within product range and assigned areas. Pursues sales leads, promoted products, concludes orders, and arranges internal sales logistics.
· ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
Ø Sales Calls: Promotes the sale of company products through distributor network, direct to customers, and other channels as appropriate. Uses technical knowledge to support and build sales. Identifies, develops and maintains direct sales to end users. Responsible for the business development with existing and potential customers to achieve sales target and market share. Good presentation skills in order to provide better understanding to customer on the products capabilities. Conduct canvassing and cold-calls to increase effective working prospects. Distributor / Channel Sales management. Knowledge of commercial aspects like quotation, negotiation, payments and taxes. Should have knowledge of Pharma, Chemical market customers in region.Maintaining MIS, Daily, Monthly and Weekly, Reports.
Ø Marketing: Participate in exhibitions, brand promotion activities. Regularly visit customers for demo/ trial.
Ø Technical Sales: Utilizes technical knowledge to assess the potential application of company products, offering solutions that meet customer needs. Researches and presents information showing potential customers the cost benefit of utilizing GDI products.
Ø Business Plans: Along with Sales Representatives/Manager, develops business plans and sales targets for assigned area.
Ø Training: Provides technical training to distributors, vendors, customers regarding products, programs, systems, etc. Communicates customer feedback into future product developments.
Ø Forecasts/Budgets: Gives input to forecasts & budgets and is required to meet budget targets.
Ø Service: Should be able to perform preliminary equipment repair, as and when required.
Ø Spares business: Should help service team to generate spares business
Ø Other responsibilities as assigned or required.
· Proficiency in Microsoft Office, other ERP/ CRM software knowledge.
· 60-70% travel
· Language: Fluent in English, Hindi and other regional language
· Other: 2 / 4 wheeler must
