1. Take ownership of the Optical and Ethernet test instruments/systemsproduct range(which are used to test different wireline/Transport/Lab Networks and equipment) and bridge technical requirements of customers w.r.t. specifications/features.

2. Delivering field Proof of Concept testing, support to customer queries, handling Test equipment upgrades for our Optical, Ethernet and IP/TDM transporttestequipment and services

3. Develop test procedures and SOPs of Ethernet transport, access, fiber optics and TCP/IP networks and documentthem so that field engineers can perform testing procedures remotely with minimal intervention.

4. Providing L2/L3 support to customerson use of our Telecom test instruments.

5. Perform on-site visits for presentations and support as per requirement

6. Lead, inspire and manage a team of presales engineers and technicians for delivering zero error presales support and project closure.

7. Carry out field Installation of performance Network elements with team members

8. Handling day-to-day field deployment issues and customer communication.

9. Engage closely on technical aspects with Telcos, ISP, Govt and PSU customers, educate and influence them with solutions

10. Engage continously with international team of product managers and R&D engineers of OEMs for product updates, application updates and creating success stories

Experience and Qualification requirements:-

The candidateshall have the following attributes and requirements to fulfill the job requirements:

1. B.E in Electronic & Telecommunications with 7 to 10 year experience 

2. Shall have good knowledge of the technology and operations of optical test equipment like IP Ethernet, OTN, DWDM, PTP/SyncE, SDH, OTDR, Laser source, Power meter and fiberscopes.

3. Shall also possess basic insights on PDH, FTTX/GPON and optical loss budgeting etc.

4. Shall be familiar with best practices in handling optical fiber components

5. Shall be willing to read and learn ITU/IETF standards, RFCs, testing methodologies and wireline/wireless backhaul technologies.

6. Shall have excellent communications skills in English – both written and verbal

7. Candidate shall have worked in Pre-sales or Product management role.

8. Energetic and proactive in customer communication to understand technical requirements, and map product features/specifications to address them

9. Individual contributor and self-starter

10. Should have experience to work in a team, and keen to start leading a team.
