Experience:

6+years of relevant marketing and business development experience in engineering / industrial manufacturing company

Experience in valve manufacturing/valve maintenance industry is preferable.
Training & Knowledge:
-
Familiarity with sophisticated marketing tools, approaches, processes and procedures

Awareness of manufacturing codes & standards highly preferable : API Q1,API Standards for Valves (Testing standards),ISO 9001:2015,ASME
-
Awareness of Software and systems will be a plus: ERP & Costing/estimation tools

Job Responsibilities :

Develop, maintain, and lead engagements with international clients, focusing on generating and managing leads from markets outside India.

Utilize platforms such as LinkedIn, AliBaba, and other international portals to conduct extensive research on potential international leads.

Identify and engage with key decision-makers and influencers within targeted international companies.
-
Leverage online networking platforms to build relationships and gather insights on market trends, competitor activities, and potential business opportunities.

Incorporate findings from online research into the overall strategy for approaching and pitching products and services to international clients.

Identify target international clients and formulate a strategy to pitch our products and services. Communicate new product developments to existing and prospective international clients.

Create and execute a comprehensive client engagement plan for international clients, specifying the number of visits, dates, and agendas for each visit.

Conduct background checks on target clients to evaluate business potential and risks.
-
Enter details of new international clients into the system. Maintain accurate contact details and follow-up dates in the system.Prepare and execute a daily/weekly/monthly follow-up task list for international leads.

Participate in identifying and submitting tenders globally. Provide technical and commercial inputs for assigned tenders.

Contribute to quotations and proposal preparation, ensuring timely submission and regular system updates.

Ensure proper processing of sales orders, purchase orders, and work orders.

Collect client feedback and provide insights for improvement. Coordinate with relevant teams to address any client issues or escalations.

Coordinate international client payments, security deposit refunds, and pending document correspondence.

Track all expenses related to international client visits. Submit accurate expense reports in the system with supporting documents.

Attend international client meetings, seminars, and trade fairs as a company representative.

Attend daily status calls and weekly/monthly team meetings to provide updates on leads and initiatives.
Communicate & Working Relationships :
Internal :

Regular interaction with in-house marketing/CRM team, purchase team, QC team, engineers and design teams, manufacturing, maintenance teams regarding day-to-day activities, status reporting and general administration.

Frequent interaction with heads of departments and director of the company regarding key decision making and reporting.
External:
-
Heavy interaction with international clients with respect to leads, quotations and pricing. Will have to attend meetings with clients frequently on behalf of the company, with or without the senior management team.

Occasional engagement and interaction with consultants, vendors and suppliers for the purpose of pricing, material discovery etc.

Operating Environment :

Have to visit client offices/sites for the purpose of meetings, discussions, tendering etc.

should be able to work well under pressure and tight timelines.

May have to travel & visit other HTC offices and manufacturing units if need be, for gathering information on products, services and other factors.
