Job Summary:
 
We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Logistics Officer to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for coordinating logistics operations between clients and transporters, ensuring the timely and efficient delivery of goods. The Logistics Officer will play a key role in managing transportation schedules, optimizing routes, and providing excellent service to clients.
 
Key Responsibilities:
 
? Client Coordination: Act as the primary point of contact for clients regarding logistics and transportation needs. Ensure clear communication and provide timely updates on shipment status.
 
? Transporter Coordination: Liaise with transporters to arrange transportation services, ensuring vehicles and resources are properly allocated and available as needed.
 
? Route Optimization: Work closely with the team to plan and optimize transportation routes for efficiency and cost effectiveness.
 
? Schedule Management: Monitor and manage transportation schedules to ensure timely and on-time delivery. Address any delays or issues promptly.
 
? Documentation: Prepare and manage all logistics-related documents, including shipment tracking, delivery receipts, and invoicing.
 
? Problem Resolution: Address any logistical issues or disruptions that may arise during transportation and work with stakeholders to find quick resolutions.
 
? Compliance & Safety: Ensure that all logistics activities comply with legal regulations and safety standards.
 
? Reporting: Provide regular reports on logistics performance, including delivery times, costs, and customer satisfaction.
 
 
 
Requirements:
 
? Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or related field (preferred). Otherwise Bachelor's degree in accounting shall do.
 
? Proven experience in logistics coordination, supply chain management, or a similar role.
 
? Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, to effectively coordinate with clients and transporters.
 
? Excellent organizational and time-management skills.
 
? Ability to solve problems quickly and efficiently, especially under time pressure.
 
? Attention to detail and ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
 
? Knowledge of transportation and delivery processes is an asset.
