Roles & Responsibilities :

Software & System Management

• Manage and maintain core software systems (ERP, HR & Payroll, Tracking, and Email Solution)
• Perform user creation, role assignments, access management, and troubleshoot system issues.
• Coordinate with software vendors for system upgrades, issue resolution, and system optimizations.

IT Coordination & Vendor Management

• Act as the primary point of contact between internal teams and external vendors
• Ensure the effective utilization of AMC services for hardware and software troubleshooting and maintenance.
• Maintain records of ticket resolution times and service efficiency.
• Escalate unresolved or recurring issues to management.

Employee IT Support & Training

• Provide IT onboarding for new hires (system logins, email setup, and training on key tools)
• Provide basic training on video calls, file sharing, and communication tools to ensure smooth collaboration across teams
• Offer troubleshooting guidance to employees, resolving issues before escalation to external support.
• Ensure all employees are added to relevant communication groups on all communication platforms (Email, Messenger and WhatsApp).
• Ensure that all employees, from Loading Supervisors to Management, have the necessary hardware and software to perform their tasks efficiently, proactively managing any requests to prevent disruptions in their work.

Hardware & Infrastructure Management

• Evaluate and procure as well as maintain all IT hardware (laptops, desktops, printers, etc.) and software.
• Maintain records of all IT assets and ensure proper software installations, upgrades, and patches.
• Coordinate with vendors for any hardware maintenance or advanced troubleshooting.

Network & Security Management

• Manage security protocols including firewalls, antivirus software, and data protection measures.
• Set up and maintain secure networks (LAN, WAN, VPNs).
• Implement backup and disaster recovery plans for critical data and systems.
• Work with external vendor for network/security troubleshooting

Customer Software Access Support

• Aid customers who need support accessing software systems for their information.
• Guide customers through login issues, password resets, and provide necessary technical assistance for accessing software platforms.
• Troubleshoot and resolve any access-related issues, escalating to the relevant vendors or technical teams as required.

Backup & Disaster Recovery

• Ensure regular backups of critical data and manage data storage.
• Implement disaster recovery procedures to minimize downtime in case of system failures.
• Monitor system health and uptime to prevent disruptions.
