Job Description :

·        To work as per job card given

·        Substrate used for need to get ready for printing

·        Flexo CTP plate mounting machine to operate & keep in tact

·        Monitoring equipment to ensure that it is operating efficiently and safely

·        Mixing chemicals to create inks that are used in the printing process

·        Cleaning the press and replacing parts as needed to keep it running smoothly

·        Operator may need to troubleshoot the issue and find a solution to get the machine working again

·        Should have a thorough understanding of the safety procedures in your workplace

·        Should know how to operate machine and the proper way to handle materials to ensure safety of own and the others.

·        The job may require shift work, and overtime may be necessary to meet production deadlines.

·        Operators need to be experts in quick-turnaround printing timing to meet the demands of customers who are looking for fast and efficient service.

·        Operators to focus on improving their quality control procedures to ensure that all products are printed accurately and on time.
 

Responsibilities

• Start air compressor and air drier, check air pressure. Remover excess water from compressor.
• On main switch of flexo machine and on stabilizer. Wait until machine initialization process complete.
• Check the job docket of job which is to be print. Remove plates from plate folder.
• Check plates before mounting.
• To be responsible for plate mounting as per printing direction.
• Check material of printing, check color sequence and Anilox sequence as per job.
• Print job as per instruction by supervisor. Match color shade with standard shade card.
• Demount plates from cylinder after printing and clean plates, maintain plate folder record.
• Maintain rotary die record.
• Maintain Anilox cleaning.
• Train and guide asst printer.
• To be responsible for doing periodic maintainance with the help of supervisor.
• To be responsible for quality printing.
• To be responsible for achieve production targets and reduce wastage.
